The Department of Corrections (DOC), State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Huntingdon is seeking a highly motivated candidate with experience in building maintenance and repair to join our team as a Corrections Maintenance Foreman.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Maintenance Foreman for the DOC, you will supervise inmate work crews in completing routine construction and maintenance work assignments in and around the Huntingdon correctional facility.
These assignments include lawn care, snow removal, janitorial, and other general maintenance. You also plan and assign daily inmate schedules and inspect completed work assignments.
In addition, you issue and inventory all materials and tools used to complete work assignments. At times, you will be responsible for performing or assisting with semi-skilled and skilled journey-level work in one or more trades at the facility, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, refrigeration, masonry, steam-fitting or welding.
